Court RoomMISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Cabot District Court is to provide equal justice in the resolution of criminal prosecutions, traffic charges, civil claims and other court related services to the public, without regard to the race, nationality, religion, wealth or poverty of any litigant, witness or advocate who may appear in the court. This mission is to be conducted in full compliance with the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of Arkansas, the laws and statutes enacted by Congress and the General Assembly, and established precedent.

JURISDICTION
District courts, formerly known as municipal courts before passage of Amendment 80 to the Arkansas Constitution, exercise district-wide jurisdiction over misdemeanor cases, violations of city ordinances, traffic violations, and civil cases in matters of not more than $5,000. A Small Claims division of District Court provides a forum in which citizens represent themselves to resolve minor civil matters.
Cabot District Court is located and exercises jurisdiction within the Northern District of Lonoke County, which includes the cities of Cabot, Austin and Ward, and the following townships: Butler, Caroline, Cleveland, Eagle, Goodrum, Magness, Oak Grove, Prairie, Totten, Ward, and York.
The City of Austin is served by a separate City Court which has jurisdiction within the City of Austin, and the City of Ward is served by a District Court which shares concurrent jurisdiction with Cabot District Court throughout the district.

The City of Cabot maintains the District Court web page(s)  in order to increase public access to court information. The information is not intended to be a source of legal advice. Chief Robinson
Welcome to the Cabot Fire Department web page. The information on these pages represents a fire department dedicated to continuous, progressive development and a desire to be respected as the benchmark for the fire service profession and community service. Our mission is to provide an umbrella of security for our citizens by minimizing the loss of life and property resulting from fires, medical and environmental emergencies, or other disasters. We value integrity, respect, service, and courage. I am pleased that you stopped by for a visit.

Cabot Fire Department is responsible for the prevention and suppression of fires within the City of Cabot, Arkansas with a resident population rapidly escalating past 26,000 people. The Insurance Services Office awarded the department a Public Protection Classification of 2/2X in 2016.  Additionally, we respond to rescue and medical emergencies in our city. Our department operates from four staffed stations. Each station houses at least one fire engine and a host of other apparatus, vehicles, and equipment. The department currently has 41 full-time and 9 part-time firefighters. Our full-time firefighters are trained to a minimum certification of Firefighter II, Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, and Hazardous Materials-Operations. Part-time firefighters are trained to a minimum level of Firefighter I and First Responder.

The department has seen dramatic growth since its beginnings as a volunteer department turning career in 1994. As the needs of our community change, our operations continue to evolve and expand. We eagerly welcome the challenges of that growth and feed on the energy it provides. I am proud to present to you the professional and courageous people who make up one of the finest departments in Arkansas.
