Police
The Cabot Police Department is located in the lower floor of City Hall at 101 North Second Street. The Department now has an authorized strength of 50 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, Scott Steely, and provides a wide range of protection and enforcement services.
The department has a community-oriented policing philosophy and provides around-the-clock patrols. Key programs and services include: Neighborhood Watch and House Watch program.
Mission Statement
The primary goal of the Police Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of criminal perpetrators. The department strives to provide the best possible police service to residents of Cabot and to those who work, travel, and shop here.
