Animal Control provides public and animal welfare through public education and enforcement of Cabot Municipal Codes
This Department's primary objectives are:
Provide animal control services for Cabot including inspecting and enforcing animal code violations
Educating the public to be responsible pet owners
Returning lost animals to the owners
The Animal Control Department with the City of Cabot also include enforcement of the Arkansas State Statutes as they relate to animal welfare within the state. This includes, but is not limited to, the Arkansas Rabies Control Act. Registration of animals through the City's mandatory licensing program and providing 24-hour emergency services for injured stray animals and public safety.
For emergency services outside of our normal operating hours, please call Cabot Police Department at 501-843-6526. A dispatcher will take your information and notify an Animal Control Officer that is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year for emergency calls.
